Our initial meeting with Lucas Bunch about 6 years ago to discuss our vision went very well and we liked him immediately. The next thing we knew Lafaye Custom Homes was building our custom and modified Modern Farm House.   We had a very good experience and still love our home.  Our home is well built.

Rob Brown, who became our friend,  was our project manager and was very easy to work with.  He did a great job following up, attending to details, answering concerns and questions throughout the whole process.  My wife also said it was so wonderful to have a designer, April,  helping her make many selections for our new home.

Finally, near the end of the project we had a compliance issue with railings and safety.  This was a big deal for us and Rob and his boss worked hard with the inspector and together they found and implemented a solution that worked.  It was amazing to watch and it had a major impact on how we wanted the exterior of our porch to look.  When we hit the snag Rob and his boss stepped up to the plate.  Even if they had been unsuccessful I knew they had thrown their shoulders into it.

Our current home was the sixth house that we were involved in the entire construction. This was by far the best construction with the grading of the lot to the finish. The people who we were involved were the best. We had a small punch list which was a positive to verify the quality of work during the building process. The people at Lafaye were really easy to work with and we would recommend them to build your next home.

We chose Lafaye to build our new home in 2024 and are glad we did! They helped us through the planning and building process.
